The Ghost corn is an Anerythristic Corn(type "A") that has an active
(expressed) Hypomelanistic gene. These are among my favourite snakes. As
hatchlings they can be distinguished from normal Anerythristic corns by their
lighter shades. They often look like faded Anerythristic corns. There can be
a lot of variation among ghost corns depending on the amount of yellow in the
animal. There are some that have shades of pink and even lavender.
